Michigan Doll Makers Guild meetings are held the
first Wednesday of every month. A person

meetings as a Guest, within a three month
period. The applicant shall display two dolls
(made by the Applicant) at the third meeting as
certification of interest in doll making. Not for
the purpose of critique.

All members are asked to bring dolls in for
display frequently, as "Show and Tell", as part of
a program, or as part of a "Theme" for a
meeting. All Michigan Doll Makers Guild
members are doll makers representing all media,
(porcelain, cloth, new cays, ect). Some are
artists who sculpt their own dolls. All are
encouraged to share their work and enjoy that of
others.

The Guild is governed by By-Laws and Standing
Rules, based on Roberts Rules of Order; which
are kept current. All members agree to abide by
them upon accepting membership. Active
members in good standing shall abide by the
Guild rules, pay Annual Dues, cast ballots on all
issues, serve on the Nominating Committee (if
selected), maintain high moral and professional
standards, and take part in any fund raising
endeavors sponsored by the Guild. They attend
meetings regularly, and wear the Guild pin.
